Once you complete the simple signup process, you may invite other family members and close friends who will be able to view the information you share. When you send someone an invitation to your account, you will select whether they will be an inner circle or outer circle member of your account. Inner circle members can grant memberships to your account to others on your behalf. Outer circle members will be able to see all your content but will not have the ability to grant memberships to others.
The main feature of this website is to give people the opportunity to pass on valuable wisdom, history, information and advice to living and future descendants.
Example: John is 80 years old and is about to become a great grandfather. He can invite his grandson Jeff to be an inner circle member of his account. When Jeff’s new son, Joey, reaches maturity, he can create his own WePassOn account. Jeff can then grant Joey a membership to John’s account, and Joey will have access to messages John left for him. Joey can learn all about his great grandfather’s life and receive advice, guidance, family history information and more directly from his great grandfather who he may have never met. When Joey gets older and has his own children, he can then grant them memberships to their great-great grandfather’s account. Ultimately, this will help preserve family values and history into future generations.
